The Redemption Summary Report provides a high-level overview of gift card redemption activity within a selected date range. Use it to track redemption volume across locations, monitor voided activity, and measure net redeemed value for a given period.
Summary Metrics
Four summary metrics display at the top of the report based on your applied filters:
Metric | Description |
Total Redemption Count | The total number of redemption transactions within the selected date range. |
Total Redeemed Amount | The total dollar amount redeemed from cards within the selected date range. |
Total Void Amount | The total dollar amount of voided redemption transactions within the selected date range. |
Total Net Amount | The total redeemed amount minus the total void amount. |
Filters
Filter | Description |
Location | Filter by one or more locations. Defaults to all locations. |
Date Range | Filter redemption activity by a specific date range. |

Columns
Column | Description |
Location ID | The unique ID of the location. |
Location Name | The name of the location. |
Redemption Count | The number of redemption transactions processed at the location within the selected date range. |
Redemption Amount | The total dollar amount redeemed at the location within the selected date range. |
Void Transaction Count | The number of voided redemption transactions at the location within the selected date range. |
Void Amount | The total dollar amount of voided redemptions at the location within the selected date range. |
Net Transaction Count | The redemption transaction count minus the void transaction count. |
Net Amount Redeemed | The redemption amount minus the void amount for the location. |
Common Use Cases
Reviewing redemption performance by location Run the report across all locations to compare redemption volume and dollar amounts. Useful for identifying locations with low redemption activity.
Monitoring voided redemptions Review the Void Transaction Count and Void Amount columns to spot locations with elevated void activity, which may indicate training gaps or process issues at the point of sale.
Reconciling net redemption totals Use the Total Net Amount and Net Amount Redeemed columns to reconcile redemption activity for accounting and financial reporting purposes.

Locations with zero activity in the selected date range still appear in the report with $0.00 values.
Total Net Amount is calculated as the total redeemed amount minus the total void amount
Voided redemptions reflect transactions that were reversed during the selected date range and are subtracted from gross redemption totals to produce the Net figures.
