Sell a Gift Card
Open a check with items on it.
From the CLOSE screen, press the POWERCARD button.
Press ADD GIFT VALUE.
Follow the prompts to load the desired amount onto the card.
The gift card value will appear as a line item on the check, increasing the check total.
Redeem a Gift Card
Open a check with items on it.
From the CLOSE screen, press the POWERCARD button.
Press REDEEM GIFT VALUE.
Follow the prompts to apply the gift card as payment.
The gift card amount will appear as a tender on the check.
Check a Gift Card Balance
Press the POWERCARD button.
Select the balance inquiry option and swipe the card.
The remaining balance will display on screen.
Selling a Gift Card Outside of an Open Check
Customers can purchase a gift card without an open check. To purchase outside of a check, got the MISC ITEMS scren and click the POWERCARD button.
